I am a self taught watercolor artist. I have a fond appreciation for flowers and landscapes, although I have tried to stretch my bounds as an artist over the years. The tiny detailed tiling effect is one of the signature niches that distinguishes my style. And yet I find my style is ever evolving. You will find a lot of hidden messages and symbols, my initials, and the year the piece was completed in most of my works, IF you look hard enough.

I now have artwork in two hospitals,
Pennsylvania Hospital and the The Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, which are part of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. I am very proud of that because I believe art heals the soul and it is a mission of mine to get more art in more hospitals everywhere. It is wonderful to know it cheers people up and helps our oncology and other patient populations forget for a second that they have cancer or disease! Healthcare workers and families always get joy from the paintings as well. I am always looking for generous donors to help supply more hospital hallways and patient rooms with artwork! I will match half if you donate! I’m grateful if you take the time to look at and appreciate my work. Much Peace, Love and Happiness... David E. Lentz
