This was my first inspiration using watercolor on canvas! I also used gold acrylic paint to really catch the eye and stand out. This piece is quite large and is the current centerpiece in my own living room. It is approximately 3 feet by 4 feet and 1.5 inches deep. I love the purple splash effect and doing the washes was fun! I fell in love with the end result...

2011 "Give Me Strength" Original Watercolor 18"x24" - This was inspired by a London Cemetery photograph I took along time ago. It was also inspired by my dad who lost his life unexpectedly last year. I painted it almost subconsciously and realized after it was completed that it had everything to do with my dad. Since I've asked him for strength many times over the last year, I thought the title was appropriate and powerful! It currently has a silver matte and dark wooden frame and is hanging in my bedroom.
